ADABI
ADABI (acronym for the Navajo words for “Mother and Children’s Home” or Ama Doo Alchini Bighan) is a private, non-profit, community-based domestic violence and sexual assault crisis intervention, advocacy, prevention, and safe home network program. ADABI serves victims of intimate partner violence in the Chinle Agency of the Navajo Nation.

Located in the Tse Bonito area of the Navajo Nation, Blackhat works to rescue the over 200,000 abandoned and stray animals on the Navajo Nation and to spay/neuter community pets. Blackhat is supported by a network of volunteer foster families in Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado who re-socialize and find forever homes for our rescued dogs and cats. Blackhat provides food, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and veterinary support for fostered animals and for animals being kept as pets when the owners cannot afford veterinary care.

Diné College serves a predominantly Navajo student population across the 27,000 square miles of the Navajo Nation that spans across the states of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. The College offers General Education courses that provide students with a high-quality experience while earning various Certificates as well as Associate and Bachelor degree programs in the areas important to the economic, political, environmental, and social development of the Navajo Nation. Rooted in Diné language and culture, our mission is to advance quality post-secondary student learning and development to ensure the well-being of the Diné People.

We are a trusted humanitarian organization focused on delivering food, medical supplies, firewood and other forms of Elder support. Respecting the tradition and dignity of Navajo Elders, we create relationships to honor and serve the Elders.

The goal and objective of the program is to provide services to Zuni Elders in maintaining a quality life with as much independence and dignity as possible, including. The various programs offer nutrition and meal support, transportation, companionship, educational and social activities, inter-generational activities, support with health and wellness initiatives, and so much more. The Kewa House Emergency Youth Shelter is a tribally licensed program serving Native American youth from the Northern and Southern Pueblos, Mescalero/Jicarilla, and Navajo Nation within the boundaries of New Mexico. Providing a culturally relevant approach, Kewa House strives to promote a sense of belonging and hope and instill empowerment within our Native youth. Kewa House fosters and enhances individual, family, and community functioning through encouragement and support of cultural/traditional beliefs, supportive counseling services, educational and recreational activities, housing options for youth (ages 0 to 17) and much more.
